From kitchen-table sketch to fitted in four steps.
Every fitted wardrobe we build goes through the same four steps — design visit, workshop build, installation, walkthrough. The timings vary by project but the steps do not. We tell you the realistic dates at the design visit and we hit them.

01The design visit
One of our designers comes to your home with a sketchbook, a tape measure, and a small case of material samples — walnut veneer, smoked oak, painted shaker swatches, brushed brass handles, soft-close hardware. We walk the room with you, measure the wall properly, and talk through how you actually use the space.
Most design visits last roughly an hour. We don't bring a laptop, we don't open a 3D visualiser, and we don't follow up with a discount call the next day. By the time we leave, you have a hand-sketched elevation, a sample of every finish on your project, and a fixed price written on the inside cover of the sketchbook. The price is the price.

02Workshop build
The build runs three to four weeks for a standard wardrobe, four to six weeks for Heritage-tier dressing rooms. Cabinetry is built in our West Yorkshire workshop on the same bench where we have built thousands of wardrobes before. The carcasses are veneered and assembled flat-packed for transport; everything else — the fronts, the drawers, the internal fit-out — arrives as finished pieces ready to install.
The finish is workshop-applied, not painted on site. That means a harder-wearing surface than a fitter could ever lay down in a bedroom, and no fumes in your house during the install. Walnut and smoked oak veneers are sprayed with a satin lacquer. Painted shaker is sprayed in three coats with full curing time between each.

03Installation
Our own joiners fit the wardrobe in your home — never subcontracted. The same people who measured your room come back to fit the cabinetry, which means there is no game of telephone between the design and the install. They arrive with protective floor blankets, dust sheets for the bed and surroundings, and a colour-coded labelling system that means the wardrobe goes together in the right order, every time.
Standard wardrobes fit in two to four days on site. Larger Signature runs are four to six. Full Heritage dressing rooms with multi-wall cabinetry and an island run five to ten days. End panels scribe to whatever the original walls and skirting are doing — period houses take longer because the scribing is precise.

04Walkthrough and warranty
Before we leave, we walk you through every drawer, every hinge, every soft-close. We adjust anything that needs tweaking on the day. You sign off the project and we hand over a folder with your invoice, the warranty document, care notes for the finish, and the part numbers for every piece of hardware in case you want a replacement years from now.
The cabinetry and hardware carry a 10-year warranty. The warranty travels with the property — if you sell the house, the next owner inherits it. Wear-and-tear and accidental damage are not covered, but a hinge that fails or a runner that wears out is replaced free of charge for a decade.
The first step is a free design visit at your kitchen table.
We come to your home with samples and a tape measure. We give you a fixed price before we leave. No follow-up sell, no negotiation, no follow-up phone calls. 1 week is the typical wait for a slot.
Book a design visitThe things customers ask before booking a design visit.
How long is the whole process, start to finish?
Around four to six weeks from your enquiry. Design visit within 1 week. Workshop build of three to four weeks for standard wardrobes. Installation of two to ten days on site depending on the project. We tell you the realistic dates at the design visit and we hit them.
Do you charge for the design visit?
No. The design visit is free, in your home, no obligation. We measure, talk through how you use the room, bring samples, and give you a fixed quote before we leave. Roughly an hour.
Are the joiners who measure my room the same people who fit the wardrobe?
Yes. We do not use subcontractors. The team you meet at the design visit is the team that builds in the workshop and the team that fits on site. That continuity is the single biggest reason our installs go to plan.
What disruption is there to my home during the fit?
Less than people expect. We bring our own dust sheets and floor blankets, the cabinetry arrives finished (no spraying on site), and the bedroom is workable again at the end of each day. We do not eat in the kitchen or use the bathroom unless you offer.
Can I change the design after the visit?
Yes — until we cut timber, the design can change. After the build starts, changes need a revised quote in writing. Most changes are small (handle finish, an extra drawer, a different shelf height) and easy to accommodate in the workshop.
What if something is wrong when you have left?
Call us. We come back. The 10-year warranty covers cabinetry and hardware; on the install itself, we expect everything to be right when we sign off, and if you spot something later we fix it.
Tell us where the wardrobe needs to go.
Three fields. We will call you back within the working day to book your design visit. We never share your details. No spam, ever.
