Mirror Door Wardrobes in Bradford
Mirror doors are the right pick when the room is narrow and you want it to feel wider. A wall-to-wall sliding run with mirrored fronts doubles the perception of the floor. An old trick — but it works.

The right pick for the right room.
Mirror doors are the right pick when the room is narrow and you want to make it feel wider. A wall-to-wall sliding run with mirrored fronts doubles the perception of the floor — it's an old trick but it works. Mirror suits Wibsey box rooms, the narrower back bedrooms of Heaton 1930s semis, the smaller Frizinghall principal bedrooms, and any room where you'd otherwise have to give up wall space to a freestanding mirror. The trade-off is care — mirror shows fingerprints and dust faster than wood or paint, and the doors are heavier on the tracks. We use bonded safety-mirror so a knock doesn't shatter the glass, top-hung tracks rated for the weight, and soft-close on every door.
What you can specify.

- Smoked or bronze-tinted mirror
- Recessed brass or blackened-steel pull profiles

On this style, the things customers ask first.
Is mirror safe for a bedroom wardrobe?
Yes — we use bonded safety-mirror that's laminated to a backing layer so a knock doesn't shatter the glass into the room. The same safety standard used in commercial fit-outs.
Do mirror doors fingerprint badly?
More than wood or paint, yes. A microfibre cloth and a glass cleaner once a week keeps them clean. Smoked or bronze-tinted mirror shows fingerprints less than clear.
How heavy are mirror doors and does that matter?
Heavier than wood — about 1.5 times. We compensate with top-hung tracks rated for the weight, which run smoother than bottom-rolling cheaper systems. The soft-close mechanism is the same.
Can mirror doors work in a Victorian terrace?
Yes — though we'd usually recommend hinged or alcove wardrobes for period rooms because the visual fits the architecture better. Mirror is a tool for narrow modern rooms, not the right call for a Frizinghall four-storey with original picture rails.
Bradford, the wider district, and the towns across the moor.
We do most of our work within a fifteen-minute drive of the workshop — Shipley, Heaton, Frizinghall, Saltaire, Wibsey. We travel further for larger projects across West Yorkshire.
